IBF showdown: Joshua will stop Dubois by KO, says supercomputer

Supercomputer has predicted that the IBF world heavyweight title bout between challenger Anthony Joshua and title holder, Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium tonight [Saturday, September 21] will end in favour of the former via a knockout blow, reports www.dailymail.co.uk/sport.

Dubois will aim to defend the coveted title for the first time against a determined Joshua who is looking to become a three-time world champion.

Dubois, 27, has risen through the ranks having previously held the IBF interim title before being upgraded to the IBF heavyweight champion after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the title earlier this year.

Both men will be salivating at the mouth over the idea of becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion but there can only be one winner and here's who the supercomputer is backing.

The Grosvenor Sport Super Computer has favoured the challenger, Joshua, ahead of the titanic clash between British rivals.

'AJ' - who has a stellar record inside the ring of 28 wins and only three defeats - has been given a 77.8 per cent chance of winning by any means in front of a sold out Wembley.

Joshua - who has bounced back remarkably since suffering back-to-back losses against Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022 - is incredible form of late.

The 34-year-old's resurgence has been nothing less than spectacular, winning his last four fights dating all the way back to April 2023, including his most recent bout against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in March.

The boxing veteran delivered a second round blow to take his knockout tally to an outstanding 25, proving why he is still considered as one of the top heavyweights.

The same supercomputer claims Dubois has a 22.2 percent of claiming victory on the night, with the remaining 3.85 percent going in favour of a draw.

The likelihood of the fight going the full distance is also slim, as the computer predicts that the fight has just a 26.7 per cent chance of reaching the final bell.

The computer favours 'AJ' to deliver the lethal blow stating that Joshua has a 69.2 percent chance of producing a knockout or TKO.

Whilst Dubois has been given 15.4 percent chance of doing the same to Joshua.

It should come as a shock to nobody that the software is predicting a knockout considering the fighters records.

The current champion has a marvellous knockout record, managing to knock his opponent down in all but one of his 21 career wins.
