Kwara Stadium Veteran Badminton Club storms Lagos for friendly

The Kwara Stadium Veteran Badminton Club will storm Lagos on Friday to confront the Police College 2008, Ikeja, in a friendly badminton game billed for Saturday, August 6.
The Kwara team is made up of 20 players led by the Club Captain,  Alhaji Sambo Magaji who is the Registrar of Kwara State College of Education Technical, Lafiagi, with the likes of highly experienced players Yinka Abolarin, Abdul, Mutiu Jimoh, Dr Abdulfatai Olokoba (CMD) Kwara State General Hospital, Ilorin. Others include Alhaji AbdulWahab  Oba, (CPS to Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed of Kwara State). Pharmacist Lanre Alege of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Bunmi Adedoyin, Coach Bola Mogaji and Yomi Bakare (P.A to Zonal Chairman IPMAN Western Zone).
Others include Prince Femi Adeleke, Emeka  and Sunday Oderinde.

Three categories of games will be played-Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Speaking with sportswriters after their training in Ilorin, the Captain of the Club, Sambo Mogaji said all the necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure a successful trip and outing in Lagos.
Sambo promised that the Club would make the state proud in the Centre of Excellence.
The Kwara Badminton Veteran Club had earlier in the year hosted Bida Veteran Club in a friendly in Ilorin.
