THIS year's Federation Cup otherwise known as the Challenge Cup will kick off on Saturday with play-off games involving the teams which can be rated as rookies in the competition.
Emmanuel Adesanya, Head of Federation Cup unit, told thenff.com that 20 teams will participate in the play–off round.
While nine of the matches will hold on Saturday, April 16, the match between Katsina United Jnr and Niger Tornadoes Feeders will hold on Sunday, April 17 in Kaduna.
“The play –off round will throw up 10 teams that will now complete the 64 to enter the pots for the National Draw, coming up on May 5,” Adesanya said.
